These terms govern your use of Vet Activities. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
Who can use Vet Activities
You must be 18 or older and use the service for lawful, real-world community activities. Provide accurate account information and keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity under your account.
Community conduct
Keep it squared away. You agree not to:
- Post fake events, spam, or content that misleads members.
- Harass, threaten, or endanger other members.
- Run scams, solicitations, or schemes targeting veterans.
- Impersonate anyone or misrepresent veteran status or affiliation.
- Break the law or facilitate anything unlawful.
We may remove content, warn, suspend, or ban accounts that violate these terms or put the community at risk.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. You grant us the limited license needed to display and distribute it within the service (for example, showing your event on the board). You're responsible for the content you post and for the events you host.
Events are member-run
Events are organized by members, not by Vet Activities. We don't vet, sponsor, or supervise them. Use your own judgment about whom you meet and where. Attending or hosting is at your own risk.
Verification
Veteran-status verification is optional and based on documents you submit, reviewed by our staff. A verified stamp means that review passed — it is not a guarantee about any individual's identity or conduct. Do not rely on it as your only judgment about another member. Submitting falsified documents is grounds for a permanent ban.
Account & termination
You can delete your account any time from account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled on deletion.
Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vet Activities and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or from events organized by members, and total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the past twelve months.
